Hello, I'm Sheryl. I was born and bred on the little island of Oahu. I left for the Mainland (for the first time ever!) in 2004 to attend art school at The Art Institute of California San Francisco. Talk about culture shock. There, I learned about color theory, how to draw with charcoal, and that there's no parking anywhere in the city. Ever.
In 2005, I transferred to The Art Institute of Portland to be closer to friends and to shop with no sales tax. By 2007, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design. During the newbie, fresh meat, fresh out of art school, job hunting phase, I somehow ended up diving right into web design. Who knew, right?
After a few years working in Hood River, Oregon for a small digital agency, I made my way up the Pacific Northwest to design more cool stuff for the interwebs.
When I'm not pixel pushing or art directing, I'm on my phone shopping or on Pinterest pinning all the things I want to buy to fill my already stuffed closet. Although I can spend hours on end on Pinterest, I do manage to find time to eat. Stuffing my face (with carbs mainly) happens to be my other favorite hobby. I'm a sucker for a good ooey gooey mac n cheese and desserts. Any dessert.
Thanks for stopping by!
